About this Opportunity
Performs a variety of clerical functions for employees of and visitors to the Parks and Recreation Department as well as building supervisor duties for the Northwest Recreation Center.

- Greet everyone who comes in the front door and check in patrons for activities and handle equipment rentals;
- Register patrons for Parks & Recreation programs and events as well as reservations and rental space;
- Answers telephone;
- Performs clerical duties such as filing, copying, and collating;
- Keep running logs for building usage;
- Prepares, maintains, and submits reports as required;
- Prepare deposits from daily receipt fees;
- Adheres to and enforces facility policies, rules and regulations and educates patrons about them;
- Assists in the tear down and set up of rooms as needed as well as general upkeep and cleanliness of facility. This includes lifting 5-10lbs, up to 25lbs occasionally;
- Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies, procedures and safety practices;
- Attends work regularly at the designated place and time;
- Supports continuous process improvement initiatives;
- Performs related work as required.
- Requires some experience working with elementary age children and/or adults in group activities; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Varied hours of Monday - Friday 5pm - 9pm, Saturday 8am - 6pm, Sunday 8am - 4pm, an average of 4-15 hours per week
