- Enforces all rules and helps maintain discipline to keep safe and orderly groups for rentals and programs.
- Locks and unlocks the building for events.
- Ensures that the facility is appropriately and sufficiently prepared and cleaned at the beginning and end of each rental or program.
- Greet customers, answers questions, assists with set-up/clean up.
- Communicates with public on regular basis.
- Maintains friendly and courteous atmosphere to all patrons.
- Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies, procedures and safety practices;
- Attends work regularly at the designated place and time;
- Supports continuous process improvement initiatives;
- Prepares, distributes and organizes rental equipment such as tables/chairs, lines, A/V equipment. This can also include basic maintenance, cleaning and ensuring the equipment is in good working order.
- Providing customers with basic instructions on how to use the equipment properly. This includes monitoring equipment usage and responding to emergencies if needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, preparing for daily operations, and communicating with other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Performs related work as required.
- Requires working and supervisory experience with adult events such as weddings and party rentals of a facility.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred.
- Average of 4-8 hours/week; primarily evenings and weekends [Facilities are staffed between 7:30am-10:30pm depending on programming so can be scheduled anytime during these hours]
