What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Parking Attendant position at City of Cedar Falls?
The City of Cedar Falls is accepting applications for a part-time Parking Attendant. Part-time hours average 20–29 per week and are generally scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Most shifts occur on weekdays and Saturday afternoons/evenings, with some flexibility based on department needs.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, enforcement of assigned parking areas and issuing citations for violations of parking ordinances. Position requires working in all weather conditions and the ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Qualifications
Qualifications include a High School Diploma, or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with good driving record, and the ability to acquire knowledge of city streets and municipal parking lots. Upon a conditional offer of employment, a background and physical exam including back assessment and drug screen will be required.
