What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Parking Attendant position at City of Cedar Falls?
The City of Cedar Falls is accepting applications for part-time Parking Attendant. Work hours will primarily be weekday and Saturday afternoons and evenings (2:30-8:00 p.m.), but could be during the hours of 9 a.m.- 8 p.m., Monday-Saturday, 20-29 hrs./wk. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, enforcement of assigned parking areas and issuing citations for violations of parking ordinances. Position requires working in all weather conditions and the ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a High School Diploma, or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with good driving record, and the ability to acquire knowledge of city streets and municipal parking lots. Upon a conditional offer of employment, a background and physical exam including back assessment and drug screen will be required.

The current pay rate is $16.99/hr. but will increase to $18.102 on June 24th. This position is eligible for union contract pay increases, pro-rated holiday pay, and other applicable part-time benefits.
