General Definition of Work
- Provide excellent customer service and food service at Parks and Recreation facilities.
Essential Functions
- Communicate effectively with patrons, co-workers, and management.
- Greet walk up customers, answer incoming phone calls, and provide accurate facility information or direct questions to appropriate personnel.
- Food preparation and distribution.
- Prepare food using a deep fryer, microwave, and other equipment.
- Wait on customers and process their orders.
- Count revenue and reconcile with daily summary.
- Report to work on time wearing uniform, prepared to perform duties in a professional and respectful manner.
- Perform general maintenance of concession area.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent customer service and public relations skills.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Previous experience handling cash payments, knowledge of cash register/POS operations and accuracy in counting currency.
- Possess strong computer skills.
- Complete Basic Sanitation Class provided by the Cape County Health Department.
