The City of Burnsville is seeking to fill the position of Seasonal Maintenance II Worker – Parks. This position is responsible for performing seasonal winter maintenance activities in City parks and facilities, including snow and ice removal, and safely operating City vehicles, equipment, and tools.
This position is open until filled.Essential Duties:
· Perform snow and ice removal at City parks, trails, sidewalks, and facilities.
· Maintain parks, facilities, and outdoor recreational areas.
· Assist with the maintenance and operation of outdoor ice rinks.
· Safely operate City vehicles, snow removal equipment, and maintenance tools.
· Perform routine maintenance and assist with seasonal Parks projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old by their first day of work and have park or other relevant experience. They must possess a valid Driver’s License or be eligible for one in the State of Minnesota. Experience with local government is preferred.
