What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Maintenance Assistant position at City of Burlington, WA?
The City of Burlington is hiring seasonal workers to fulfill a variety of Public Works and Parks duties. The position performs a wide range of skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of street, storm water, landscaping infrastructure and the City of Burlington facilities. The work is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain. There are five (5) Seasonal Maintenance Assistant positions available within the Public Works Department; four (4) of the positions will be for general Public Works and Parks assignments and one (1) position will be dedicated to the Wastewater Treatment Department for grounds and building improvement assignments.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Must be 18 years old. Experience in maintenance, painting, and/or landscaping preferred. See attached Job Posting and Job Descriptions documents for more details.
Special Requirements
Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License. Any offer of employment may be contingent upon the applicant passing a urinalysis test for drug use and background check.
