- Collaborate with the Director to design, plan, and implement engaging camp activities.
- Ensure activities are carried out within the established guidelines, prioritizing safety and fun.
- Provide supervision, instruction, and ongoing assistance to both program staff and campers.
- Maintain positive, supportive relationships with staff, campers, and families.
- Maintain open and clear communication with Youth Program Supervisors to ensure program success.
- Effectively interact with staff, participants, families, and external agencies.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the camp site and equipment.
- Assist with daily housekeeping to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
- Ensure adherence to the City’s safety policies, prioritizing the well-being of all participants.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications to handle emergency situations.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Radiates an outgoing and positive attitude, creating an uplifting environment.
- Displays strong leadership abilities, inspiring confidence and direction in others.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proof of or ability to complete First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
- Proof of or ability to complete USDA Summer Food Service Training.
- Previous experience with children.
- Teacher certification.
