This posting is for the Job Fair being held on 05/01/2026 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Location: 2285 Trane Rd, Bullhead City, AZ 86442

The interviews for the Marketplace Parking Attendant positions will also be held on this day, as the Job Fair is being used to help facilitate the hiring process for this role. We may also have other job opportunities available during this event.

Please note that you must still submit your application through the system to be considered; however, interviews will be conducted on 05/01/2026 during the Job Fair.

Applicants must be 14 years of age or older to apply; however, certain positions may have additional age requirements, with some roles requiring applicants to be 18 years of age or older due to job duties and responsibilities.

This position may consist of performing duties associated with various activities, special events, and programs of the City’s Marketplace Division, primarily including community park operations by manning parking stations and collecting payments, including The River Shop (seasonal convenience store), and ramada rentals, cashiering, inventory, stocking, special event setup and tear down, etc.

Applicants 18 years and older: Responsibilities may include operating golf carts or UTV’s.High school diplomas not required for current high school students. NOTE: This is a part-time position that will work no more than 29 hours per week. Schedule may consist of early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: *High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of related professional experience preferred or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 

LICENSING & TRAINING:
  • Valid Driver's License
*Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.

  • Perform accountability tasks associated with cash flow and correct calculations for appropriate reports.
  • Maintains inventory of food, supplies and equipment while conducting assigned programs and operate facilities. 
  • Issues equipment and supplies to activity participants or groups.
  • Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of facilities and equipment.
  • Enforces safety rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner. 
  • Accurately and promptly fill out accident/incident reports.
  • Answer routine questions regarding facility usage.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • Computer skills and knowledge of basic computer programs
  • Proper care and use of equipment
  • Simple recordkeeping
  • Accurate cashiering and mathematical skills

ABILITY TO:
  • To work cohesively with City employees, children and adults (general public)
  • Conducting and overseeing various programs of Marketplace activities.
  • Keep appropriate records
  • Express ideas orally and in writing while promoting exceptional customer service.

SKILL IN:
  • Point of Sales (POS) operation and recordkeeping
  • Appropriate and effective customer service 
  • Public Relations and Special Events
  • Mathematical skills.

The employee may, at times, be required to stand in one area for long periods of time. The employee must have the agility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific hearing abilities include the ability to hear sirens and whistles, hold conversations with others by telephone, in person, and over radio equipment.  

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a variety of weather conditions, including extremely hot weather with temperatures reaching 118º-120º during the summer months. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud when outdoors at events.
