The City of Bristol, Virginia has an immediate opening for the position of Public Works Motor Equipment Operator I. This position works under the direct supervision of applicable supervisor or job foreman. Duties include operating a variety of construction and operational equipment and vehicles in support of City street maintenance and construction projects at operational sites throughout the City.
High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one (1) year experience in vehicle and light construction equipment operation is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and Class B commercial driver’s license or have the ability to obtain said license within six months of employment.
