What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy- Commissioner of the Revenue's Office position at CITY OF BRISTOL?
The City of Bristol, Virginia's Commissioner of Revenue’s Office is now seeking qualified applicants for a full time, 40 hour per week Deputy position.
Must have the ability to work well with the public on a confidential level and have a general knowledge of computers and office equipment. Duties include working with state income tax returns, preparing mail, working with personal property taxes, processing business licenses, meals, lodging and rental taxes, tax relief applications, and assisting with real estate records.
Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal resident and undergo a thorough background check including a criminal history records check and pre-employment drug screen.
College and/or related experience preferred.
Salary is based upon experience on the Virginia Compensation Board employment salary scale.
