Summary
Maintains and repairs park athletic fields and facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains and prepares parks and athletic fields for public use;
- Operates lawn equipment;
- Repairs and replaces vital facility sports equipment, including nets, batting cages, and wind screens;
- Assists other city departments as needed; and
- Maintains and cleans park grounds on a weekend basis such as cleaning public restrooms and removing litter.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license.
- Applicants must be at least 17 years of age.
The job duty age requirements are:
- Must be at least 17 years of age to operate most park maintenance equipment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate City equipment on public roadways.
