POSITION SUMMARY:The Maintenance Worker position with the Public Works/Engineering Department is responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks required for the construction, maintenance, and repair of the city's right of way, streets, and sidewalks. Assists with the planning and completion of projects assigned to them. The position works under the general supervision of the Street Supervisor II position and Crew Lead.

WORK HOURS: Monday throughFriday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
WORK LOCATION:In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.

Minimum Requirements Of Experience, Education, And Training
One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks is required.
Preferred Experience, Education, And Training
Concrete finishing experience preferred.
A Class A or B CDL license is preferred.
High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred.
Miscellaneous Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment.
Must pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within 6 months of being hired into position.
Must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position
Must be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November throughMarch.
Must be highly engaged in the department's goals and be able to work cooperatively with Public Works & Engineering leadership in achieving those goals.
Must possess a high degree of integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate excellent customer service to thoseinternal or external to the department.
Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening.
