- Billing and Account Management:

- Handle account inquiries and adjustments.
- Manage customer data and ensure accuracy in billing records.
- Customer Service:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to billing and service issues.
- Provide detailed information and support to customers regarding their utility services.
- Payment Processing:
- Process payments and manage account statuses.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and manage collections according to established policies.
- Field Operations Support:
- When required, perform field duties such as reading meters, connecting/disconnecting services, and troubleshooting field-related customer service issues.
- Ensure accurate data collection for billing purposes during field operations.
- Reporting and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for both billing and field operations.
Typical Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; additional certification or coursework in business administration, finance, or related fields preferred.
- Experience: Experience in utility billing or customer service is preferred. Additional training in field operations is advantageous.
- Certifications: Required to obtain a Class C Water Operator’s License issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) within 2 years of employment.
