Production Shuttle/Runner

The Arts & Entertainment department is looking for interested individuals to join our team and work with us as Production Shuttle/Runner for tours and events.

The role of a Production Shuttle/Runner is to always conduct themselves as a reliable and responsible member of the city staff while fulfilling the needs of the touring production. This may involve meeting or interacting with those of a great level of notoriety, for which professionalism is paramount. Duties may be performed while using a City vehicle or your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement per the IRS standard).

This list may not include all tasks and/or knowledge which may be expected of the employee, nor does it cover all specific duties which may be required. Other duties may be assigned.

• Driving a city provided vehicle for the various needs of a tour, which may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Picking up catering or food for the tour.
• Shopping for various items at stores around Bloomington.
• Picking up and dropping off members of the tour at venues, restaurants, hotels, airports, etc.
• Driving to pick up various items as required by the Arts and Entertainment staff.
• Intermittent and infrequent use of your personal vehicle for such activities listed above.

• Ability to interact with individuals & companies face-to-face, on the phone or via mail/email.
• Must learn quickly, thrive in an environment with competing demands and quickly changing priorities, and be able to thrive in an environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
• Professional, consistent, reliable, proactive.
• Self-motivated, flexible team player with a positive attitude, demonstrate ability to multi-task and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfort and familiarity in theatrical and arena spaces.

Minimum Age: 21

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
