2025 Wage Range: $20.24 hourly
Full Time Temporary/Seasonal 40-hour per week position, Non-exempt; Non-Union; Benefits Ineligible
Application review will begin on January 2, 2026. Posting will remain open until positions are filled, but initial interviews will be done January 5-16, 2026.
Ongoing Part-Time employees who are employed for more than 6 months will make contributions to the pension program (PERA) through payroll deductions unless they qualify for one of the exemptions. In addition, Part-Time may receive Paid-time Off (PTO) at rate outlined in employee handbook and eligable for paid parental leave after 6 months of employment.
Temporary/Seasonal employees do not receive benefits outside of Paid-time Off (PTO) at rate outlined in employee handbook.

- Two openings in Traffic
- Two openings in Survey
Examples of Duties
- Perform survey work with electronic instruments
- Perform field inspection
- Check materials for conformance to specification
- Perform traffic counts and studies
- Communicate with the public
- Preparing plans and maps with computer-aided drafting and GIS
- Various office tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of one academic year of a four-year Engineering/Surveying Degree program or completion of one academic year of a two-year Civil Engineering/Survey technical school certificate program
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
