In this role, you will organize and lead a variety of activities at parks across Billings, helping create safe, welcoming spaces that promote play, creativity, and community connection.
- Lead and facilitate mobile recreation activities at various park locations
- Organize and supervise age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and group play
- Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants
- Serve as a positive role model for youth
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and equipment management
- Work collaboratively with Rec2U staff and supervisors during programming
- Provide excellent care and customer service to the public
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Positive, energetic attitude with strong communication skills
- Enjoy working with children and adults in a community setting
- Ability to lead groups and encourage participation
- Comfortable facilitating a wide variety of recreational activities
- Previous experience working in children’s programs preferred
- First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided if needed)
- Gain hands-on experience in recreation programming
- Work as part of a dynamic and supportive team
- Make a meaningful impact in the Billings community
