What are the responsibilities and job description for the Port Attendant - Seasonal position at City of Bethel, Alaska?
Under the supervision of the port director, the attendant performs maintenance and repair of Port facilities. Patrols operating areas to include cargo dock, petrol dock, harbor, seawall, adjacent waterways and beach areas. Logs vessel traffic, sells user permits and logs daily activity.
This is a seasonal position that may be filled from May 1 through Oct 31.
Special Requirements
Port attendants are assigned to shifts that cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Applicant must be able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
