Summary
Responsible for program administration and activities coordination. Supervises the activities, safety, and well-being of groups of campers in a day camp program. Maintains a fun, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere to facilitate an environment where campers can enjoy the camp by participating in many different planned activities and function.
Primary responsibilities
• Runs fun games and activities during pickup and drop off times.
• Operates the pickup and drop-off table.
• Communicates with parents on-site.
• Sets up daily activities and games.
• Implements games between planned functions to keep campers engaged.
• Monitors camper activity and travel throughout a park.
• Assist campers in games by leading the activities.
• Provides instruction and demonstrations for each game or activity.
• Cleans up park following day camp.
• Organizes equipment storage room throughout camp.
• Monitors safety of camp setting at all times.
• Implements Emergency Action Plans when necessary.
