Job Overview:
The City of Belleview Public Works Department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day field operations of the department. This individual will be responsible for supervising a team of field personnel, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily work schedule for all field personnel
- Complete performance evaluations and resolve personnel issues
- Plan and schedule department projects and programs
- Assist in plan review for new construction and conduct pre-construction meetings
- Conduct field inspections and review final as-builts
- Monitor compliance programs and schedule maintenance
- Review purchases for field operations and coordinate with inventory technician
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a community college in a field pertinent to the position
- 7 years' experience in underground utility construction with 3 years supervisory or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications
- FDEP Certification in Water Distribution Level 2 or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Valid Florida Driver's License, Class B CDL preferred
- Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification
Salary and Benefits:
This is an exempt salaried position with a pay range of $77,746.60 - $120,120.05 DOQ. The City of Belleview offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
