GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the general direction of an Accreditation Analyst, performs highly responsible complex and specialized work in planning, coordinating and managing the implementation, maintenance and adherence to professional standards for municipal agencies as established by CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training), legal mandates and best practices in government management. Work is performed with considerable independence, along with strict confidentiality and is evaluated through conferences, reports and results obtained. Performs other work as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent certificate of competency, and three years of accreditation and/or compliance experience in law enforcement, governmental, medical, or an educational field.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS
(Unless otherwise specified below, must possess at the time of appointment and must be maintained current throughout employment in this classification.)
Must have a valid Louisiana driver's license at the time of appointment and maintain throughout employment in this classification.
