What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Plumber/ LifeBridge Health position at City of Baltimore, Mayor's Office of Employment Development?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizes and operates power pipe threading and other plumbing equipment
- Identifies specialized equipment and components to be used in the alteration of plumbing/piping systems.
- Request appropriate materials, supplies, and equipment needed to perform assigned tasks and secures same from stock and/or procures required material.
- Develops project schedules, scope of work and project requirements
- Maintains work areas, equipment rooms, and tools so as to be operational, clean and orderly, per departmental guidelines.
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as assigned and assists any higher departmental job classification as assigned.
- Documents work activity both by written means and electronically by use of the Computer Maintenance Management System, per departmental guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Associate's degree preferred
- Experience: 5-7 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Certification/Licensure: State of Maryland Journeyman Plumber license, Full MD Driver's license and good driving record.
