We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Install fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on projects
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Good physical condition, stamina, and manual dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (optional, depending on job site needs)
