Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices.
- Experience in Workplace Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) protocols.
- Possession of or eligibility for NEBOSH or similar professional certification.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Ability to conduct workplace audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective measures effectively.
- Strong communication and training skills to effectively educate diverse teams on health and safety practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field, or relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and generating reports to support decision-making.
- Prior experience in municipal or public sector settings is a plus.
