Duties
- PTI Certification is preferred.
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct investigations into crimes, accidents, and other incidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- Enforce traffic laws and regulations, issuing citations when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, arrests, and other law enforcement activities.
- Engage with the community through outreach programs to foster positive relationships.
- Handle animals in distress or involved in incidents, ensuring their safety and care.
- Provide first aid and CPR when required in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies on investigations and operations.
Experience
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in law enforcement principles. Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience or training in law enforcement or related fields.
- Skills in animal handling and care for situations involving animals.
- Knowledge of immigration law is a plus.
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques to effectively resolve disputes.
- Leadership abilities to guide community initiatives and team efforts.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to drive safely under various conditions.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
