Job Opening: Full-Time Maintenance Position
The City of Americus is accepting applications for a full-time maintenance position.
Qualifications:
- High School Education or equivalent
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds
- CDL
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and basic machinery is required
- Operator 1 Wastewater Certification required or upon completion of one year's fieldwork must take and pass the Operator 1 Wastewater Certification.
- Certification continued by 10 education hours every two (2) years.
- Must pass a physical prior to employment.
