Job Summary:
The Street Department Supervisor oversees multiple crews responsible for the maintenance, repair, and construction of City streets, alleys, rights-of-way, sidewalks, signage, striping, and related infrastructure. Work includes planning, scheduling, and supervising daily operations to ensure safe and efficient service delivery. Duties are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and safety standards. Performs related work as required. Reports directly to the Street Superintendent.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or GED supplemented by up to five years of previous experience in water and wastewater maintenance and/or heavy equipment operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Special Requirements
• Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Additional certifications (traffic control, flagger, or equipment operation) preferred.
