What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at City of Altoona, PA?
Tying bags of sand and putting it onto a weighing machine. Steel toes are suggested but not required. Lifting is required 38 to 48 pounds coming off of conveyor to pallets. The position is outside, candidates should dress according to weather. Candidates will need to take fluids and food (no vending machines). No drug screen or background check is required.
8am - 430pm, mon-fri Candidates must be at jobsite and ready to work at 8:00 AM sharp!) Hours may be decreased if quota is met for the week (but will be paid). Performance & Conduct agreement to be signed on first day of assignment.
