The City of Albert Lea has the following seasonal/temporary position available:

Warming House Attendant

Examples of Duties

  • Monitor the warming houses and outdoor skating areas during the winter months.
  • Responsible for the supervision and security of skating participants and the warming houses.
  • Help keep the warming house clean and orderly
  • Report safety concerns and facility issues to supervisor
  • Open/closing duties

Typical Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older
  • Enjoy working with the public
  • Dependable, punctual and friendly
  • Able to work independently and follow department procedures
  • Comfortable working in winter weather
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends

Hours may vary based on weather and rink conditions.
