What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker (Parks) position at City of Aiken?

JOB The City of Aiken is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department in the Parks Division. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Keeping City properties clean, safe, and attractive
Maintaining park grounds and playground equipment
Maintaining athletic fields and recreation facilities
Setting up and breaking down facilities for rentals and events
Operating a variety of light equipment
General cleaning, dealing effectively with the public, and other related duties

Work hours are variable and may require evening and weekend scheduling. Manual labor and heavy lifting are required. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION This position is subject to a criminal background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
