What are the responsibilities and job description for the STREET MAINTENANCE WORKER II position at City of Ada?
The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position Street Worker II. The individual selected must be able to perform semi-skilled and skilled work in the construction and maintenance of streets and related facilities including alleys, storm drains, signals, signs, and markings.
Working conditions travel from site to site; field environment, exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, and inclement weather conditions, work around heavy equipment.
Experience: One year of experience performing street construction, maintenance and heavy equipment operation.
License or Certificate: Selected individual must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma Class A commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsements within one year.
