Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our New Accounts team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support and ensuring a positive experience. Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service through various channels including phone, email, and in-person.
- Open and process new accounts including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and business accounts.
- Explain account features, requirements, and benefits clearly to customers.
- Gather and verify required documentation for account opening and bank regulations and procedures.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to products and services, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Provide customer additional information and resources of other bank products or services including Digital Banking, Debit Cards, and Loans.
- Handle outbound calling to follow up on customer issues or provide additional information as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer information and accounts.
- Perform data entry tasks to ensure customer information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Utilize computer applications to manage documentation effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while communicating with customers and peers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
- Experience with cash handling is a plus.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sales skills are an advantage.

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
