Summary Description
Makes and services a portfolio of business loans for commercial customers. Calls on potential and existing customers to develop new business, to increase existing business and to retain current business. Gives financial advice and counsel to current clients and prospective clients on lending, commercial deposits and fee-based services.
Essential Functions
• Generally manages a portfolio of outstanding loans between $40 to $59 million
• Originates commercial loans within assigned geographic area
• Maintains and services a loan portfolio
• Works with centralized credit analysis to monitor credit worthiness of borrowers
• Participates with Collections Department on problem loan collection and workouts
• Works with Retail Branch staff to develop new business
• Monitors loan quality and follows up with borrowers on past due loans
• Participates in various community-related activities
• Assists in recovery efforts and collateral liquidation
• Reviews commercial overdrafts daily
Position Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Banking or Finance
• Over three years of commercial experience, including credit analysis and loan review
• Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
• Typically the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking, bending and carrying of light items
