Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of extensive experience managing complex and high-risk wholesale portfolios.
Recognized subject matter expert (SME) in wholesale portfolio management, commercial lending practices, credit policy compliance, and risk assessment methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex and high-risk borrower portfolios with minimal oversight.
Deep knowledge of wholesale banking products, complex loan structures, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific credit risks.
Advanced proficiency in analyzing financial statements, market conditions, and portfolio trends to identify strategic risks and recommend appropriate credit actions.
Proven ability to serve as a lead advisor to senior management and client relationship teams on portfolio strategy, credit trends, and emerging risk exposures.
Strong track record of designing and implementing proactive portfolio risk mitigation strategies to safeguard asset quality and profitability.
Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level credit reports, portfolio summaries, and risk presentations for senior leadership, credit committees, and regulators.
Exceptional verbal communication and collaboration skills; capable of influencing cross-functional teams and advising on complex credit and risk matters.
Advanced analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving, and sound judgment with minimal supervision.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with loan servicing or risk management systems required. Ability to lead system or process enhancements is preferred.
Strong commitment to data integrity, reporting accuracy, regulatory compliance, and documentation excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
