Salary: $67,000 - $75,000Position Summary:Under supervision of theDirector of Programs & Strategic Initiatives,theResident ServicesProgram Manager assumes responsibility for day-to-day operational management of activities and functions in theResident Servicesprogram area, including: developing, implementing and evaluating program delivery, procedures and standards; monitoring program budgets; assisting his/her supervisor in determining program service levels and enhancements; interpreting and complying with all applicable regulations; identifying and developing funding opportunities; providingrelevantadvice and supervision to clerical, technical or professional staff, the public,and other agencies.Major Responsibilities/Duties:Implement core program/service components and oversee progress toward program outcomes at all assigned sitesSuperviseand manageappropriateResidentServices staff in the delivery of programs/services and the evaluation ofoutcomesCollect and use program data as a tool for program supervision, evaluation,and improvementUnder the supervision of theVP,participatesinthe annual Resident Services budgetprocessIdentify, develop,andmaintainnetworks and partnerships with relevant service providers, community and religious organizations,businessand educational institutions,andassistResident Services staff to do the sameFacilitate effective working relationships between Resident Services and Property Management staffat all assigned sitesAssistin the development and implementation of Resident Services policies and proceduresRecommend,developand/or provide Resident Services related training,and other staff development resources for Resident Services staffIdentifyand secure funding for Resident Services programs and initiativesTrack and meet grant compliance requirementsand prepare andsubmitall required reportsin a timely mannerUnder the supervision of theVP, collaborateswith housing development staff working on new projects or acquisitions todetermineplans for Resident Services and to provide input on physical plandecisionsConduct regular visual safety auditsat all assigned sitesto ensure the safety of residents and staffActively recruit volunteers and manage the Resident Services volunteer programActivelyparticipatein regional meetings related toResidentServicesParticipate in Affordable Housing advocacyAdditionalduties as assignedQualifications:Commitment to the mission of the organizationBachelor's Degree in a relevant field(Social Work, Sociology, Education, etc.)or equivalent experienceMinimum of three years management experience; preferably in the nonprofit fieldDemonstrated supervisory skills with ability to lead a team and achieve resultsExperience in budgeting, supervising programs, and program evaluationExcellent internal and external communication skills, including public speaking, presentation and writing skillsDemonstrated relationship-building skills;possessessolid judgment, critical thinking skills, and a sense of teamwork and communityHighproficiencyin all areas ofSalesforce, Adobe, SharePoint,Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word,Exceland PowerPointMust hold a valid CA Driver's License and current automobile insurancePhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
