City Express by Marriott is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Night Auditor to join our team in Findlay, Ohio. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong customer service skills, and is comfortable balancing financial reports while providing exceptional guest service during overnight hours.
As the Night Auditor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of the hotel's daily financial records while serving as the overnight front desk representative. If you're organized, reliable, and enjoy a combination of accounting and hospitality, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Complete the nightly audit by balancing all hotel revenue, guest accounts, and financial transactions.
- Audit and reconcile front desk, restaurant, market, and other hotel revenue outlets for accuracy.
- Verify cash, credit card transactions, deposits, room charges, taxes, and adjustments.
- Prepare and distribute daily revenue, financial, and statistical reports.
- Submit daily financial information to the corporate accounting team.
- Ensure all guest accounts are accurate before closing the business day.
- Welcome guests, complete check-ins and check-outs, and provide outstanding overnight guest service.
- Answer phones, process reservations, and respond to guest requests and concerns professionally.
- Follow cash handling, security, and Marriott brand standards.
- Communicate overnight activities and any concerns to hotel management.
- Assist with additional hotel duties and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous hotel front desk, night audit, or accounting experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic computer and math skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to learn hotel property management and reservation systems.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available to work the overnight shift 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed.
