The Marketing Assistant plays a vital role in assisting all efforts & initiatives set forth by the Marketing Department.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate & distribute promotional items
- Assist in community engagement & business development efforts
- Build relationships & identify potential new partners
- Help with tracking and reporting on marketing programs, campaigns and projects
- Assist in managing the credit union's social media profiles - including content creation, brand reputation management and updating branch information.
- Communicate with partner companies
- Provide communication to City & County Credit Union staff pertaining to marketing promotions & campaigns
- Supports CCCU's public relations efforts, including writing and distributing press releases and tracking published articles.
- Adhere to high ethical standards by following Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) policies and procedures as they relate to this position
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a communications-related field, preferred or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years marketing experience preferred, specifically in a credit union or financial services organization or internship experience
- Hold a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- PC proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe software (e.g., Photoshop)
- Skilled in using social media software to publish content and monitor online conversations
- Highly organized, self-motivated and driven for accuracy and thoroughness
- Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills
