City Construction Group (CCG) is a high-end commercial interior contractor based in Miami, FL. We specialize in Class-A office buildouts and luxury hospitality spaces for major clients. CCG is employee-owned (ESOP).
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring projects are awarded at competitive prices with complete scope, while building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Leads pre-construction efforts on complex corporate and hospitality interior projects, leveraging deep experience and historical data to deliver accurate, competitive bids.
Primary Responsibilities
• Read complex architectural, structural, and MEP plans; scope projects and create takeoffs
• Prepare and submit thorough RFI lists; review addenda and adjust proposals accordingly
• Attend weekly meetings with project team and clients to understand scope and revisions
• Provide pre-construction cost analysis based on historical data and job similarity
• Conduct on-site visits and document existing conditions through photographic reports
• Propose Value Engineering (VE) ideas and track reduction targets against overall budget
• Prepare detailed bid narratives ensuring clarity and accuracy in every category
• Request and evaluate bids from subcontractors; provide post-award feedback
• Create and manage bid timelines from RFP through award
Requirements
• Construction Management or Engineering background preferred
• Estimating experience specifically in interior tenant improvements required
• Proficiency in Procore, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and Excel
• Ability to read preliminary plans, anticipate scope and conflicts
• Ability to create, interpret, and analyze project schedules; identify long lead items
• Strong understanding of subcontractor scopes and landlord Rules and Regulations
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or Primavera experience a plus
• On-site experience (PM, Superintendent, or Subcontractor) a plus
