City Construction Group (CCG) is a high-end commercial interior contractor based in Miami, FL. We specialize in Class-A office buildouts and luxury hospitality spaces for major clients. CCG is employee-owned (ESOP).
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring projects are awarded at competitive prices with complete scope, while building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Focus on high-end commercial and hospitality interior projects.
Primary Responsibilities
• Read complex architectural, structural, and MEP plans; scope projects and create takeoffs
• Receive, review, and prepare bid packages and comparison sheets
• Prepare and submit thorough RFI lists to clients
• Attend weekly meetings with project team and clients to understand scope and revisions
• Provide pre-construction cost analysis based on drawings, documents, and historical data
• Conduct on-site visits and document existing conditions through photographic reports
• Propose Value Engineering (VE) ideas and track cost reduction opportunities
• Prepare detailed pricing notes to ensure clarity and accuracy in each category
Requirements
• Construction Management or Engineering background preferred
• Proficiency in Procore, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Excel
• Ability to read preliminary plans, anticipate scope and conflicts, and visualize multiple scenarios
• Strong understanding of subcontractor scopes and trade divisions
• Familiarity with landlord Rules and Regulations
• Strong aptitude for working with numbers — costs, percentages, and measurements
• On-site experience (PM, Superintendent, or Subcontractor) a plus
• Negotiating skills and scheduling ability a plus
