We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter Helper to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. Duties
- Assist with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, caulking, drywall repair, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Support the application of paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless spray), and conventional spray equipment on diverse surfaces such as walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, and structural elements
- Handle hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like mixing coatings, sanding surfaces, or installing fixtures and trim
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and color schemes to accurately match project specifications
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris following safety regulations
- Follow all safety protocols including proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to site safety regulations
- Assist with site setup, material transport, and cleanup to ensure smooth project flow
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction site work is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential .
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding safely and effectively
- Understanding of surface preparation techniques such as sanding, scraping, caulking, drywall finishing, masonry work, and stucco application
- Knowledge of color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality finishes in residential or commercial settings
- Good physical stamina for ladder use, standing for extended periods, lifting materials or equipment as needed
- Commitment to safety regulations including proper respiratory protection use and adherence to safety protocols
