What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Shop Attendant position at City Club Marietta?
- Assist professional staff in ensuring a golf environment known for quality and service that draws customers and visitors to the facility.
- Administer point-of-sales transactions and maintain the day-to-day golf reservation systems by reserving tee times and lessons, checking in customers, and receiving payments.
- Accurately reconciles cash register sales with daily sales reports at shift change points.
- Ensure the collection and recording of receipt of appropriate payment (cash, credit card transactions); following company procedures.
- Keep a working knowledge of all upcoming tournaments and programs to provide accurate information to guests.
- Maintain records of daily play on the golf course and other data, as directed.
- Assist with maintaining the data management system within the point-of-sales software.
- Perform outside service duties, such as setting and maintaining the cart staging area, the driving range practice tees, putting green, the short game area, and other duties.
- Responsible for day-to-day activity in the golf shop, taking phone calls, tee times, and checking in customers.
- Assist the professional staff ensuring that merchandise is displayed well, organized, and kept clean at all times.
- Assist in keeping the golf shop and stock room clean and neat at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
