Maintenance Technician – Part Time
Compensation: $25/hour
Schedule: Part-time
Location: City Church Campus
About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to help care for and maintain our church campus. This individual will support the day-to-day upkeep of our facilities to ensure they remain safe, clean, and fully operational for services, ministries, and events.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong Christian character, integrity, and a heart to serve the church community.
Requirements
- Must be a Christian and committed to living out Biblical values.
- Must pass a Live Scan background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across the campus.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds to identify repair needs or safety issues.
- Perform upkeep tasks such as painting, patching, replacing fixtures, and minor carpentry.
- Address plumbing-related needs: unclogging drains, fixing leaks, replacing parts, etc.
- Support event setup and teardown when needed.
- Maintain tools, supplies, and maintenance areas in an organized manner.
- Keep exterior areas clean and well-maintained, including basic landscaping tasks.
- Coordinate with outside vendors when specialized work is required.
- Weekly meeting with Campus staff and individual meeting with Campus Pastor
Required Skills & Experience
Competency in the following areas is required:
- HVAC basics (filter changes, simple troubleshooting)
- Plumbing
- Electrical (basic)
- Painting & patchwork
- Carpentry
- General building maintenance
Additional helpful skills:
- Irrigation and landscaping experience
- Ability to read and follow basic maintenance manuals or instructions
- Experience maintaining a commercial facility or large property
