SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
Qualifications
Professionally prepared as a teacher of elementary children; meeting the teacher requirements of Florida Department of Education and other accrediting organizations. A warm, sensitive, mature Christian who relates well to children and adults.
Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education; FLOCS teacher certification or FL Teacher Certification
Skills
- Develop high-quality, age-appropriate lesson plans to successfully engage children and foster physical, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social development
- Provide timely teaching of learning standards in the classroom and beyond
- Use data to monitor student performance and maintain accurate records to track and support growth
- Develop rapport and communicate effectively with elementary children, parents, and co-workers
- Create a safe, welcoming, and healthy environment for learning
- Work closely with fellow teachers, assistants, volunteers and administration to achieve collective goals
- Implement CCA policies and procedures
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality, as needed
- Provide grade-level Christian teachings
Pay: $120.00 per day
