Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

City Chiropractic in Portland, Oregon is seeking to hire a part-time Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused team. We have a rehabilitative focus, with our LMTs working closely with our Chiropractic Physician to provide appropriate therapeutic massage care. Our team is incredibly important to us, we take special care to ensure that every team member has the tools they need to thrive. Requirements:

• Active LMT license in Oregon
• Malpractice insurance
• 1 years of experience working with injuries and rehabilitative care
• Open to work: M/W/F 9am-6pm and TH 2pm-6pm
• National Provider Identification Number – Requirement for insurance billing (credentialing with insurance panels is a plus - please include details in your cover letter if this applies to you)
• Reliable transportation
• Maintain excellent punctuality and reliability

Skills:

• Experience with advanced techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cupping, sports massage, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and interest in personal and professional growth
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Ability to listen and respond to patient’s needs in real time
• Passion for your work and commitment to high-quality care
• Warm and compassionate presence and ability to build meaningful patient relationships
• Strong time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Chiropractic Physician to personalize massage sessions to our patient’s specific needs or injuries
• Check-in with patients periodically during massages and adjust your technique or pressure to meet their needs
• Change out linens in between massages, wipe down tables and surfaces to ensure cleanliness standards
• Monitor blanket and linen levels, inform manager if stock is running low
• Chart noting
