This is a full-time, on-site position for a Lead Line Cook, based in Huntsville. The Lead Line Cook will oversee food preparation and ensure dishes are prepared to specification. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff during shifts, maintaining quality and cleanliness standards, preparing ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring food safety compliance. The role requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and assist in creating a cohesive and efficient team.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and ingredient handling
- Experience in managing a kitchen team, delegating tasks, and maintaining organization during high-pressure service periods
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, cleanliness, and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to challenges, and maintain quality under time constraints
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster a collaborative team environment
- Previous experience as a line cook, or in a culinary leadership position, preferred
