**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join City Butcher kitchen team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible in meat preparation (trimming) ensuring that all meat entering the smoker and off the smoker is at highest quality and presentation. You also will be responsible for side duties and preparation of our sides. This is an excellent opportunity to work in clean and supportive environment with a passion for fine BBQ
**Duties**
- Assist with smoker and knowledge of meat muscles, including food handling, knife skills, and cooking techniques.
- Sausage making knowledge
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
- Participate in food quality control measures, including taste testing and maintaining inventory levels.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in the food industry, with a focus on smoked meats and raw products.
- Strong culinary skills, including knife handling, cooking techniques, and food safety knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
