What are the responsibilities and job description for the Games Official Adult position at City & Borough of Juneau?
This position plays a vital role in creating a fun, fair, and safe recreational environment for adult volleyball leagues, including Men's, Women's, and Coed divisions.

- Is reliable, arrives on time and is able to open and close the gym independently for each shift.
- Enjoys frequent interactions with the public and has a positive/outgoing work attitude.

- Will be flexible, working varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Keeps facility clean and safe for all patrons.
- Contributes to the success of the Department.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
This position would be seasonal (September through April). Hours would vary (Monday through Sunday) depending on scheduled leagues/programs for the Men’s, Women’s and Coed Volleyball Programs. Hours would generally be Monday through Friday between 6:00pm and 10:00pm, and Sundays between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Position would typically be working at Dzantik’i Heeni Middle School and/or Floyd Dryden.
Prior experience in basketball, soccer, and/or volleyball as a scorekeeper, official, coach, or player.

This recruitment is being used to collect applications for a Part-Time Limited Recreation Worker I, working as an Adult Games Official for the Parks and Recreation Department. In accordance with 2 PR 010, part-time limited positions may be non-competitive and are not subject to public announcement.
