This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. For this role, you must have experience in looking after clients with peg feed. We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you'll never know what challenges you're about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you'll be making your clients' days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
The Client Is a Young Adult Who Has Cognitive Impairments, And Due To This, The Client Would Require Several Complex Needs That Need To Be Met, Such As
What you'll need
Experience with PEG (PEJ) feeds, ventilators, suction machines, challenging behaviour and the knowledge of seizures and/or dystonia is essential.
