Regional Director of Operations

The Regional Director of Operations is responsible strategic operations expansion goal of the company and day-to-day operations including facilitation of internal communication between field staff and management, system status monitoring, facilitating short-term scheduling needs with the scheduling coordinator, equipment and supply coordination, as well as other operational support functions as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct, monitor, communicate with and evaluate all field employees in his/her assigned area in coordination with the Operations Manager and company executives.
• Supervise and manage a team of regional managers, paramedics and EMT's in the West Texas region.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members
• Oversee the implementation of patient care plans
• Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working order
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Provide excellent customer service to business partners, facilities, patients and their families
• Respond to emergency situations as needed
• Promptly investigates incidents involving assigned units or personnel, including, filing of internal and external reports, and counseling staff.
• Ensure maintenance of adequate levels of staffing, equipment and medical supplies for field units by cooperating with the logistics department.
• Maintain communication with departments.
• Serve on committees with other departments to set policies and generate ideas.
• Maintain availability during disaster situations or mass casualty incidents and assist in any capacity needed.
• Provide CPR, BLS, ALS, and PALS Classes.
• Be professional, friendly, and cooperative with all employees.
• Be available to communicate with crew and management 24/7.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• More than 5 years of managerial position experience with an ambulance company
• Ability to coordinate activities closely with others in stressful situations
• Ability to effectively communicate Verbal / Written English
• Ability to take direction and adapt to changing situations/job duties
• 5 Years experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred
• Active Paramedic License
• EMS Instructor Certification
• CCT Certification and a minimum of 5 years of Critical Care Paramedic Experience
• Bachelor Degree in EMS or other related field
• Masters Degree in EMS or other related field is a plus

Salary : $73,092 - $114,102
