Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and documenting medical histories accurately.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) and medical documentation with precision to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct patient intake processes, including recording symptoms, updating medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly.
- Dedication to exceptional patient service by addressing concerns empathetically and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or specialty practices.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential.
- Hands-on experience with vital signs measurement and medical documentation is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical records management is necessary for success in this role.
- Experience supporting diverse patient populations including geriatrics or those requiring complex care coordination is preferred.
