Citrus Pharmacy is an established Long-Term Care closed-door pharmacy serving Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living communities, and healthcare facilities throughout Southern California for over 25 years.
We are seeking a dependable and motivated IV Pharmacy Technician with sterile compounding experience to join our team. This role is critical to supporting patient care through the safe and accurate preparation of IV medications in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and compound IV medications using proper aseptic technique
· Maintain cleanroom and anteroom standards and daily cleaning protocols
· Process and enter IV medication orders and supplies
· Replenish IV emergency kits and maintain inventory
· Communicate professionally with facility nurses regarding IV medications and supplies
· Support additional pharmacy operational duties as needed
Qualifications
· Current California Pharmacy Technician license required
· IV sterile compounding certification preferred
· Experience in Long-Term Care, hospital, infusion, or home health pharmacy preferred
· Strong knowledge of sterile compounding and aseptic technique
· Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication, organization, and reliability required
